KIMCHI PANCAKES

 KIMCHI PANCAKE:

                        Kimchi pancakes are savory pancake that is quite made with sliced kimchi, flour batter and sometimes other vegetables. It is a vey simple and easy to make recipe.

Taste:

    It's taste is crispy, salty, sour(because of kimchi). It's mouth-watering and irresistible.


Ingredients:

  • ½ pound well-fermented(sour) kimchi, chopped  
  •  2 tablespoons of the brine
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • ½ cup plain flour
  • ½ cup water
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions:
  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl , except for the oil.
  2.  Add 2 tablespoon of oil in a pan , and heat it.
  3.  Swirl the oil on pan so that all the surface is oiled.
  4.  Add the batter on the pan and spread it in the shape of a circle with spoon.
  5.  Let it cook for 5 mins, until the bottom is crispy.
  6. Turn it over and add 2 tablespoon of oil on the edges and centre.
  7. Cook this side for 5 mins until brown and crispy.
  8. Now for the last time turn it over and cook for 1 min.
  9. SERVE while hot with any sauce.
