KIMCHI PANCAKES
KIMCHI PANCAKE:
Kimchi pancakes are savory pancake that is quite made with sliced kimchi, flour batter and sometimes other vegetables. It is a vey simple and easy to make recipe.
Taste:
It's taste is crispy, salty, sour(because of kimchi). It's mouth-watering and irresistible.
Ingredients:
- ½ pound well-fermented(sour) kimchi, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of the brine
- ½ onion, chopped
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- ½ cup plain flour
- ½ cup water
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions:
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl , except for the oil.
- Add 2 tablespoon of oil in a pan , and heat it.
- Swirl the oil on pan so that all the surface is oiled.
- Add the batter on the pan and spread it in the shape of a circle with spoon.
- Let it cook for 5 mins, until the bottom is crispy.
- Turn it over and add 2 tablespoon of oil on the edges and centre.
- Cook this side for 5 mins until brown and crispy.
- Now for the last time turn it over and cook for 1 min.
- SERVE while hot with any sauce.
